 Joy is an emotion that can be cultivated: Sparks of joy with an open mind can lead to an upward spiral of more joy. This present moment feeling is broader than happiness and greatly impacts our daily interactions with others, stress levels, and overall wellbeing. 

 

 In This Workshop:

 We will explore ways to invite more happiness and joy into our lives every day including through discussion, yoga asana, meditation and active writing exercises that will pay a role in your life after our time together.

A Reiki share, also known as Reiki circle, is a gathering of Reiki practitioners who participate in giving and receiving Reiki within an atmosphere of community, friendship, generosity, and love. Practitioners often come to Reiki Shares to receive Reiki for themselves and to practice sharing it with others. The energy of the group creates a beautiful space of love and healing. 

  • Open to all with or without prior Reiki experience, by donation.

  • Cash, Venmo, card, or check will be accepted.

  • We will have blankets, bolsters, stools, and chairs for your comfort.

  • All are welcome including those whom are new to Reiki.    

Helene Williams has been practicing Reiki for 15+ years including in hospital settings & corporate environments. Rebcecca Hawkes pursued her Graduate Level Certification in Mindfulness through Lesley University thenwent on to complete her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training. Rebecca integrates ancient mindfulness lessons with movement,  alllowing for learning to become visceral and remembered at a spirit level.

Jessica met Stormy while teaching Yoga at WEYS over 21/2 years ago and they became friends. Two different souls, navigating two different paths, found something in common through their Yoga practice and through community. “I am so grateful for the relationships that this community has opened up for me. Stormy has listened, offered advice, and I am so glad that we were able to meet- a friendship that has helped to shape me as I navigate this world.” Since then, Stormy completed his 200 hour YTT, Aerial Yoga training, Pilates Instructor training, and more. Explore the basic principles of Ayurveda through a series of asanas based on the qualities of nature and how they can be used to balance your lifestyle and wellbeing. Some posture flows are vigorous but modifications and props will be used to make this workshop comfortable for everyone. Both beginners and those who know Ayurveda basics will benefit from this physical exploration of this life science.
