On the Fourth Friday of each month, we invite you to join our community of men, where we seek to uplift one another and be real with each other.
We chose mountains as a symbol for this group because they capture the aspects of earth, solidity, and centeredness. They also reach upwards towards the heavens, calling us to grow and find our higher purpose.
Led by Keith Silliman-Matthews, this 60 - 90 minute workshop will be guided meditation, sharing, dialogue, breathwork, and a small portion of mindful movement. Walk-Ins are welcome.
The price for this workshop is on our sliding Community Scale - you are welcome to pay $5- $25. Community Members are no cost and class passes may be used.
This group is open to all males & those who identify as male, ages 18- 118.
Keith is an avid meditator, Tai-Chi Instructor, and Yoga Practitioner working toward his 200 RYT. He began meditating daily six years ago and has deeply studied Soto Zen. He came to yoga to aid in dealing with the aftermath of chemotherapy several years ago. By practicing steadfastly, he has seen profound transformation in both his physical and mental health. Keith has also been very involved in men's work for the past several years, primarily with the Samurai Brotherhood. He is deeply passionate about personal growth and firmly believes that interpersonal group work is an important tool in becoming one's best self, in addition to the embodied practices of meditation and yoga.

Chakra Exploration & Flow: 8 Week Class Series, Sundays 6-7:15 p, 10/16-12/11, Megan H.B.
“Chakra literally means “spinning wheel.” According to the yogic view, your body’s 7 chakras are a convergence of energy, thoughts/feelings, and the physical body. Our consciousness (mind) gets projected through these wheels, and this largely determines how we experience reality from our emotional reactions, our desires or aversions, our level of confidence or fear, even the manifestation of physical symptoms.” Yoga Journal
Working through our Chakras systematically will help us understand ourselves in a whole new way.
Attend any or all- Our explorative 75 minute classes, allowing you to engage, ask questions, and be curious. Employing Asana, Mudras (hand gestures), Pranayama (breathwork) and Bandhas (locking/engaging muscles in certain areas of the body), each week we will take a plunge into the deep sea of each Chakra Center. Candlelit SRY & Yoga Nidra: An Experience of Self Love & Release with Sonia Karas, 10/05, 7:15-8:30 pm
“As the body slows down, so the mind slows down. As the body rests, so the mind rests”
-Swami Tattvavidananda
An invitation to pause, reflect, and tend to yourself. Join Sonia for a gentle, deeply nourishing yoga asana practice that emphasizes restoration and inner illumination. By working to release spinal tension and over time clear patterns of stress, our bodies, minds, and spirits are restored and rejuvenated. We’ll use generous propping to fully support the body for maximum relaxation and presence in the asanas. Includes seated and supine postures.
The physical practice will intentionally prepare students for Yoga Nidra, or guided relaxation. Yoga Nidra provides deep nourishment for the whole being- mind, body and spirit. Benefits include total relaxation, heal depletion, reduce anxiety, restore energy, mental clarity, and increased capacity for inward focus. This class supports a vast variety of bodies, abilities, and levels of experience. The nourishing nature makes it an incredible compliment to our busy lives and our more active movement practices.
